What is a graphemachine? In a text we may identify a structure. What is that structure? Does it have a form? Can it be described without being annihilated? When I read what do I understand? A graphemachine builds an idiom for a unique structure. It gives body to a body lying dormant in a phrase. It is a way of reading or of translating structures in a text. It is way of reading that avoids pre-existing idioms, such as English language idioms or idioms in other “natural” languages. In a machine a reading is coincident with a writing or the embodiment of a form, and the text that is read is the reading that writes itself.
